Important information about Egyptian property:
Property in Egypt can be purchased in different stages of construction, unlike the UK.
1. UN-FINISHED, This is purchasing a property this is just the "shell", it is finished on the outside, but not the interior. i.e. no windows, doors etc. The big advantage of this type of property is that the buyer can choose all the windows, doors, air con. etc themselves, the property can also be structurally changed internally if needed. It“s the nearest thing to having your property built to your own spec. The disadvantage is of course is that the property is not ready to move into straight away. This is the best option if time is not so important. And obviously the price reflexs that finishing is required. If you are considering an un-finished property, we can arrange any internal design you require.
As a giude to "finishing" costs, you should allow £40-60 per Sq m. The actual cost depends on your requirment. A guide to time scale for "finishing" is 1 month for apartments, and 2 months for villas.
2. FINISHED, This is like the conventional UK property, finished internally and externally.
